Ah, finally... My favorite time of year has come. Red cups are back at Starbucks (but they aren't really red), Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and all the birds are frantically eating as much food as possible before the cold hits. It's hard to come up with one word that describes it all, so here is a short list:
Yes. All these words describe the holidays, at least for me. What describes your holidays? I wish I could say that the holidays bring heaps of generosity, kindness, and love into my life, but I cannot. Yes, I do feel more generous during the holidays. I want to share my love and kindness to those who lack it, but in the end, when the holidays are over, it comes back to being only about me. I want to change that. What about you? While enveloped in this overwhelming season, take some time to share some love and kindness. Give the gift of a smile to anyone who could use a little joy. Show that you were made by a creator who loves you incredibly by sharing that love, and don't stop when the holidays end. Never stop. Think about that as you enter into this holiday season. What other ways can you share your love? Tell me in the comments below.

In such a busy, fast-paced life full of distractions and deadlines, it's a real challenge to find time for nature. Especially when the weather isn't your favorite. Here is a little poem I wrote yesterday. I hope you enjoy! Reminiscing Seasons |

Summer is finally here! My favorite time to get outside with my camera and take pictures of the world around us. Summer is the perfect time to just relax in nature--really soak it in. The world is a beautiful place made for us, so this summer, make an effort to go outside and see. See what nature has to give you. |
