This world is messy and full of distractions. Sometimes life moves slowly, like a snail dragging itself along day by day; other times it moves at bewildering speed, risking a fatal crash. Things happen. Things change. Things go away.
There is so much beauty in the world that it's sometimes hard to notice it. We so desperately try to fit into the human world that our minds push away the natural beauty that is right in front of us. We forget the childlike wonder that we once felt when witnessing a caterpillar emerge as a butterfly. For each of us, there is a way to see this beauty. For me, that way is photography. I have learned to see the world differently because of my camera. I see beauty where others don't. You may have a different way to see this beauty such as sketching, journaling, hiking, or all three. I encourage you to find your way to see beauty where others may not. Try looking at things from a new angle. Find something beautiful and take a picture of it, sketch it, and see what you come out with. Are you more comfortable behind a camera or pencil? Please share your thoughts with me in the comments below. What's your favorite way to see beauty in nature?

I see beauty by touching it, experiencing it, traveling to find it, and then I capture it with photography! We miss your blog posts! Have you found beauty in the midst of busyness? My daughter is not part of YWW anymore, but still writing up a storm. Photography is her passion too.
