As we all know, the weather doesn't always cooperate with our grand plans. Rain, snow, wind, or freezing temperatures can often get in the way of our adventures. Even if we look at the forecast and plan accordingly, the forecast can be wrong. So what should we do when this happens? Admit defeat and crawl back indoors? No. Take advantage of what nature bringsDon't let a little cold rain stop you from enjoying your outdoor plans. Do something different. Get your raincoat and umbrella and take a walk through the woods.
I know, this sounds like a horrible experience, but at least it's a new one. Adventure awaits those who are willing to look for it. Of course, there are some circumstances which simply won't allow this "push through it" mindset. But when you can, push through - no - climb these walls that nature puts up. You might find something extraordinary on the way up.

Not present on the year At any other period. When March is scarcely here A color stands abroad On solitary hills That science cannot overtake, But human nature feels. It waits upon the lawn; It shows the furthest tree Upon the furthest slope we know; It almost speaks to me. Then, as horizons step, Or noons report away, Without the formula of sound, It passes, and we stay: A quality of loss Affecting our content, As trade had suddenly encroached Upon a sacrament. |
